Saturday I took a four mile walking tour of the city. Starting at Foggy Bottom, I made my way down to the Lincoln Memorial and the Memorial Bridge and then headed over to the Tidal Basin to examine the Cherry Blossom buds. So far they look like they’re tucked very safely within their winter blankets. They don’t seem to be making an appearance anytime soon.

To finish out my tour, I made my way to the Waterfront, through L’Enfant Plaza, out to the National Mall and up to Judiciary Square Metro outside the National Building Museum.
