This image is out of focus for a reason. This night I attempted something I’ve never tried before: shooting action with a manual focus telephoto lens. In the past I’ve had limited success using normal lenses. This time I learned just how hard it is to focus a lens on a rapidly moving target in near darkness (~EV 8).
